The launch platform
The IDG DEMO Conference launched dozens of companies on stage each cycle, but the launch signal scattered the moment the lights went down. I directed a high-performance media studio that integrated live social dashboards, digital signage, press-photography workflows, and analytics systems — reinventing how DEMO publicized new products.
What I built
I supported the launch of 375 technology products and services with a real-time digital-marketing model: website, social, content, and PR activity feeding a live event platform that generated content and real-time data dashboards for press and sponsors. The analytics system monitored social performance, sentiment, link clicks, press coverage, and video engagement — data that informed final event reports and a new real-time sponsorship package.
Coverage landed in Bloomberg, The New York Times, TechCrunch, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CBS, Popular Science, and Wired — 5,000+ articles, 450 videos, and 35 million social impressions across 40+ countries.
The global event circuit
The historical production archive documents DEMO programs in Silicon Valley and Palm Desert (2011–2013), DEMO Africa and DEMO Asia (2012), and innovation tours through Seattle, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Vancouver BC, Montreal, London and Singapore. This work also intersected with the 2011 Startup America Partnership live-media launches at DEMO and TiEcon.
